The purpose of this Stakeholder Communiqué is to advise all IATF Stakeholders of the addition of BYD Group as a new member of IATF AISBL.

BYD Group is a large Chinese OEM present in global markets. BYD Group, being certified to IATF 16949, also requires its suppliers to achieve IATF 16949 certification, further demonstrating its strong commitment to the IATF quality management system standard, process consistency, and the principles of continual improvement. The participation of BYD Group will further strengthen the IATF’s ability to respond effectively to the challenges arising from the automotive industry’s transformation toward electrification, intelligent technologies, and global integration, ensuring that the IATF framework remains robust, relevant, and future-oriented.
